Dixeen M. Toliver, MEd.

Dixeen M. Toliver, MEd. is an accomplished teacher with Richmond (Virginia) Public Schools. She completed a Master in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Virginia Union University.

Ms. Toliver has more than 25 years of experience as an educator with the Richmond Public Schools system and has served in many different capacities. In addition to being a teacher, Ms. Toliver has served as grade level and department chairperson, Summer School Assistant Principal, New Teacher Career Coach and mentor to colleagues.

Her recent recognitions include being named Boushall Middle School Teacher of the Year for 2017 and the 2016 Keynote Speaker for the Virginia Union University School of Education Induction ceremony.

Ms. Toliver is committed to education and the development of preparing her students with successful skills that will assist them into becoming productive contributing members of society.
